Cable TV Troubleshooting Tips

  1. Blue screen or just static


    1. Check your coaxial cable from the wallplate to the Cable connector on the back of your television. Some push type coax cable will lose contact with the shield causing poor or no picture.

    2. Ensure that your VCR or TV video input is set correctly.

    3. Ensure that your Television or VCR is set to "cable" as the input source as opposed to "off-air"

  2. Fuzzy or snowy pictures
